The breakfast was of a middle range. Not worse but not excellent. There was choise enough. Everything in seperated packagings. No warm eggs neither other warm food.
There was brown bread and white bread. The white bread was saltless. We have mentioned it to the owner and he tells a story that this white bread is typically Tuscany and it must be eaten with strong tasty cheese. That cheese was not offered on the buffet but stored somewhere else. We have visited Tuscany before and never have tasted such bread. It was just simply saltless bread. Nothing more or nothing less. The day after the white bread was normal.
A remarkable thing was if you want a second hot drink (coffee, tea,...) that you have to pay for it. It is noticed on the door of the entrance of the breakfast room. In France they would say "c'est du jamais vu" ... this is never seen before.
Like I said before: the highest price of our 3 visited hotels with the lowest service/quality.
